representative to the international organizations headquartered in Vienna
1982-1986 - member of the negotiating team to Madrid CSCE
Conference and to Stockholm Conference on confidence building measures in Europe
1986-1990 - expert on international law and business law
matters at the Romanian Ministry of Justice
1990-1993 - counselor and director of the Arms Control and
Disarmament Directorate, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania
1993-1998 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of
Romania to the Netherlands. During the same period, represented Romania to the
Council of Diplomatic Representatives of the Hague Conference on International
Private Law and acted as Chairman of the Preparatory Committee of the
Organization for Chemical Weapons Prohibition.
