  • 1951 - graduates the Theoretical High School in Turnu Magurele
  • 1957 - graduates the Faculty of General Medicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, Specialization and upgrading in general surgery and cardiovascular surgery
  • 1962–1976 - post-graduate studies in general surgery, emergency surgery, traumatology, thoracic and cardiovascular surgery
  • specializations in France (1979, 1980), Austria – Vienna (1989, 1990), Israel (1992), USA (1993, 1995), Denmark (1999) and Belgium Belgia (2001)
  • 1975 - PhD in medical sciences with the dissertation „Contributions to the participation of lymphatic system in the society", experimental study under the scientific coordination of prof. I. Teodorescu Exarcu
