A. President of the World Mineralogy Organization
- 2004 - founds the World Mineralogy Organization. Establishes its legal
basis and statutory objectives as an international scientific association
devoted to the sciences of the Earth
- strongly promotes the Organization objectives, obtaining the support of
numerous well-known international institutions and personalities
- organizes numerous prestigious events. Among them:
- the Exhibition of Mineralogy "The Treasure of the Stones
Belts", at the Museum of Oceanography in Monaco, lead by the famous
professor Jean Jaubert, former partner of Commander Jacques Yves
Cousteau
- the International Scientific Conference FDIMM
- the Diamonds Ball and the ceremony of awarding the Medals of
Scientific Excellence "Rainier III - Albert I", under the high
patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Rainier III of Monaco
Principality. Prince Rainier endorsed the proposal submitted by the
World Mineralogy Organization, through its Founding President, to mint a
Medal - unique in the world - of Scientific Excellence, having the
effigy of Prince Rainier III on one side and of his grand-father Albert
