  • 1973-1987 - Editor for Poetry at "Eminescu" Publishing House, Bucharest

  • Since 1990: Director of "Ion Creanga" Publishing House, Bucharest

Political Career

  • 1990-1992 - Member of the Chamber of Deputies, Romanian Parliament (PNL-AT)

  • PNL Vice-president (National Council) and President ad interim of PNL National Council

  • PNL Candidate for Dolj County (Legislative elections, November 2000)

Publishing activity

  • Literary work: 12 books of poems, 3 volumes of short prose and 3 books for children

  • Translations: 
    "Letters from Darkness", Oxford University Press, 1991 (nominated as the best book of the 1991 Year in Great Britain
    "Pluta Rasturnata", Arena Publishing House, Netherlands
    "Leii din Babilon" (Lions in Babylon) - translated in Hungarian
