EDUCATION
- 1957-1962 - Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Physics Department of the Bucharest University
- 1962-1964 - Post-graduate studies in International Relations at Bucharest

Professional Activity
- 1956-1957 - worked at the “Chemical Research Center” of the
Romanian Academy as main laboratory assistant
- 1964-1971 - Third and Second Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- 1968-1971 - Master Assistant at the Polytechnic Institute of
Bucharest/Physics Chair, leading a parallel activity with the diplomatic one in
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- 1971-1979 - Second and First Secretary at the Romanian Embassy in France
- 1979-1984 - First Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- In April 1982, the totalitarian regime suspended him from the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs, due to an unfair abusive trial intended to some intellectuals
("transcendental meditation trial”); consequently, between 1982-1984,
he did not develop any kind of activity, even if he remained in the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- 1984-1990 - Professor of the Education Department in the
Ministry of Mines
- 1990 - returned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- 1990-1992 - Director of the “Cultural Relations Department” of
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- 1992-1997 - Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Argentina
- 1993-1997 - Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Paraguay,
resident in Buenos Aires
- May 1997-April 2000 - Ambassador of Romania to the Spanish Kingdom
- After 1992 - honorary professor at different Universities in
Argentina and Spain.
- March 2, 2000 - received the diplomatic degree of Ambassador
