Scientific Research
The scientific research was done within the
Bucharest University, Geologic Institute, as well as within the framework of
several international cooperation projects in the fields of Mineralogy, Magmata
Petrology, Volcanology, Metallogeny. The results were included in over 100
works, published in the country and abroad, among them:
- 12 volumes (of which 9 as sole author), include:
- Sedimentary Petrography, 1962
- Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology, 1981
- several papers and maps at a pan-European level collaboration
- important contributions to studying the geology of tertiary volcanic earths in Romania as well as of the associated deposits
- Editor-in-chief of Academy's specialized publications
